Quality Assurance
We are looking for talented individuals to join our development team as we expand to meet the needs of our growing company. We work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment encouraging participation and interesting ideas. We are integrating quality assurance functions into our Scrum-based development team. The Quality Assurance resources will establish, maintain, and execute QA processes ensuring our deliverables are of high quality.
Essential Functions: Work as a specialist on the development team focusing on ensuring features meet expectations in at least functionality, usability and quality domains. Create and perform software test plans, test scripts, test case designs, testing processes, and defect management. Automate testing functions of web-based and rich-client applications. Identify possible tools and approaches to assist with testing and their integration into the Agile approach. Basic understanding of T-SQL statements and database design Review reported defects ensuring defects are accurate and contain enough information for a software engineer to resolve.
Qualifications and Experience: At least 2 years of experience performing quality assurance functions. Experience with black box, white box, and gray box testing. Experience with functional system integration acceptance, and regression testing. Experience with feature testing in both positive and negative scenarios. Detailed oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision. Solid organizational skills.
Desired Qualifications: Agile experience is a plus. Experience testing Cold Fusion or Java applications is a plus.
