How do I create a new project in VisualVault?

The following article explains how to create a new project in VisualVault. New projects in VisualVault are created to manage ongoing documented projects.

To create a new project, please follow these steps:

  1. Open a browser window and go to your VisualVault Login page.
  2. Enter the following information:
    • User ID: this will typically be in the format of firstname.lastname
    • Password: the password for your account
  3. From the Projects menu, select New Project.
  4. Enter the necessary information:
    • Name: enter the name of the project
    • Description: enter a short description of the project
    • Copy From Project: select a project if you wish to copy the existing project into this project
  5. Click Continue.

A new project has been created in VisualVault.
