How do I disable the Enhanced Message List option in SmarterMail?

The following article explains how to disable the Enhanced Message List feature in SmarterMail. This feature enhances the display of your inbox and folder lists, while allowing for easy sorting and paging of your messages. For users on older systems or certain browsers like Opera, Safari or IE for Macs, you may experience a decrease in the performance of SmarterMail because of this feature. In these cases, you can simply disable the Enhanced Message List feature. When disabled, your inbox and folder lists will function as a previous version of SmarterMail and the performance should increase.

To disable the Enhanced Message List, please follow these steps:

1. Open a browser window and go to one of the following URLs:
   • http://mail.yourdomainname.com
   • http://mail#.safesecureweb.com (this address is provided in the setup email)
2. Login using your email address and password.
3. From the Settings menu, select My Settings.
4. Click the Display tab.
5. Uncheck Enhanced Message List.
6. Click Save.
