How do I fix an application error when attempting to view log files in Virtuozzo?
Virtuozzo creates log files for actions that are performed on the server. When attempting to view the log files through Virtuozzo, you may encounter the following error message:
Application Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration.
Contact your Hosting Provider
Please report this problem to the technical support.
The most common cause is that the time zone is not set properly. This can be resolved by correctly setting the time zone for Virtuozzo.
To correct the time zone, please follow these steps:
- In a web browser, log into the Virtuozzo control panel, https://ipaddress:4643.
- From the left menu, under Other, select Configure.
- Under Local Time Zone, select (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) as that is the time server the VPS server resides in.
- Click Submit.
You should now be able to check your log files.
