The following article explains how to purchase WHOIS Privacy for a domain name through HostMySite’s Control Panel.
WHOIS privacy is a service that can be purchased for your domain name that updates your domain name with
generic information, protecting your identity. The fee is $2.00 per year per domain name.

To purchase WHOIS Privacy for a domain name, please follow these steps:

1. Open a browser window and go to www.HostMySite.com.
2. Click on Control Panel Login.
3. Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
4. Click on Domain Name Administration and select List Domain Names.
   
5. Check Add WHOIS Privacy Service for the domain name.
   
6. Click Purchase WHOIS Privacy.
7. Verify your payment information is correct.
   
8. Click Purchase WHOIS Privacy.

Once purchased, an email will be sent to the administrative contact of the domain name from TuCows (the registrar) requesting verification. Once you complete the verification process, your domain name information will be updated.
