How do I change the mail server for my storefront?

The following article explains how to change the mail server for a MIVA Merchant storefront. By default, the mail server is set to the same mail server used by your hosting accounts, mail#.safesecureweb.com. If you prefer to use a different mail server you can specify a particular one.

To change the mail server, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into the MIVA Merchant Admin section located at http://store.domainname.com/merchant2/admin.mvc. If this address does not work, you may need to use http://domainname.com/merchant2/admin.mvc. Older MIVA Merchant stores were configured with this address.
  2. Click Domain Settings.
  3. Click Site Configuration from the menu.
  4. Enter the new mail server.
  5. Click Update.
