How do I add Postini Spam Filtering to a user?

The following article explains how to add Postini Spam Filtering to a user. Once Postini Spam Filtering is ordered, you can log into the Control Panel and add the service to a user. You will need to purchase this service for each user.

To add the service to a user, please follow these steps:

  1. Open a browser window and go to
  2. Click on Control Panel Login.
  3. Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
  4. Expand Postini Spam Filtering and select Add / Remove Postini Users.
  5. From the list of SmarterMail Users, select the user(s) and click >>.
  6. Click Save Changes.

Please allow up to 5 minutes for the users to be configured. Once the users are configured, they will appear in the list under Spam Filtered Users.
