What is SmarterMail?
Answer:
SmarterMail is a Web-based mail program developed by SmarterTools. The Web-based interface allows you to manage your email users as well as send, receive and store email information. SmarterMail has an easy to use interface that includes Spam filters as well as multi-language support.
Question:
Can I login from any computer to check my email?
Answer:
Yes. As long as your computer has a connection to the Internet you are able to log into the SmarterMail Web interface to access your email accounts.
Question:
How much space do I get with my email account?
Answer:
Each domain name can store up to 1 GB (Gigabyte) of email messages. As the administrator, you can divide this space up between your users. Each user can have a maximum of 100 MB (Megabytes). The SmarterMail Web interface provides reporting features that allow you to monitor the size of each users mailbox.
Question:
Can I manage my SmarterMail account through the HostMySite.com Control Panel?
Answer:
Within the Control Panel you have the ability to create and manage users as well as log into the SmarterMail Web interface.
Question:
Can I use a third party program with my SmarterMail account?
Answer:
Our SmarterMail servers are configured to allow POP3 connections from 3rd party programs like Microsoft Outlook or Netscape Mail. Our premium mail server allows for IMAP connections as well as POP3 connections. More information on this topic can be found here.

Is there help documentation available?
Answer:
Online help documentation is provided for each and every screen within the SmarterMail interface. Simply click Help in the top right corner to view the help documentation pertaining to the screen you are looking at currently.
